Prevalence and Factors Associated with Smartphone Addiction among Adolescents–A Nationwide Study in Malaysia

Smartphone ownership among adolescents is getting common in this decade especially Malaysia; Adolescent are strongly devoted to their smartphone and may lead addiction. Studies have reported that addiction has become an emerging social health problem the youth many countries however there lack of study Malaysia. This aimed examine prevalence factors associated with was a cross-sectional involving from 15 primary care clinics throughout country. Respondents were assessed on activities using Malaysian short version scale (SAS-M-SV). Multiple logistic regression used determine predictors adolescents.
